LONDON, 17 August 2016 - CNA Hardy, a leading specialist commercial insurance provider for clients within the Lloyd’s and company markets, is pleased to announce the appointment of Alec Goodair as UK Financial Institutions (FI) Manager and Suzannah Bazell as FI Underwriter.
Reporting to John Taylor, Head of Specialty Underwriting, Alec will be responsible for the strategic development of the combined syndicate and company UK FI portfolio. Supporting Alec, Suzannah will focus on driving profitable growth across a diverse book of UK and international risks.
Both Alec and Suzannah join CNA Hardy from Allied World (AWAC) where Alec was Financial Institutions Manager and Suzannah was Financial Institutions Senior Underwriter. Prior to joining AWAC, Alec held a senior Financial Lines position at AIG after his move into underwriting from broking, having spent the earlier part of his career at Aon and Marsh.
