The rankings are calculated from peer-based research conducted by Insurindex and published by Gracechurch Consulting. The bench strength result is calculated from the aggregate number of underwriters mentioned across each firm through nominations for over 950 individual underwriters in total, from more than 130 different firms offering underwriting services to the London Market.
