LONDON, 12 November 2018 - CNA Hardy, a leading specialist commercial insurance provider for clients within the Lloyd’s and company markets, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jalil Rehman and Lisa Skeels as Chief Operating Officer and Head of Human Resources respectively.
In a newly created role of COO, Jalil is responsible for driving operational excellence throughout the business and building and maintaining a robust governance framework across the organisation. Data and Analytics, Claims, HR, IT/Ops, Risk and Actuarial will now report to him. Subject to legal and regulatory approval, Jalil will join the Board as an Executive Director.
Jalil has almost 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry. In his most recent role he was Chief Business Operations Officer at Chubb, leading the integration of Chubb and Ace.
As Head of Human Resources, Lisa is responsible for the strategic people agenda of CNA Hardy’s Talent Management and Attraction, Compensation and Benefits and HR Business Partnering programmes. In addition, Lisa will work with the wider leadership team to drive a stronger performance driven culture whilst at the same time progressing the organisation’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion agenda.
Lisa joins CNA Hardy from Marex Spectron, where she was Group Head of HR. Prior to that, Lisa spent 14 years at Chubb in a variety of HR leadership roles responsible for the development and implementation of its HR People strategy across Europe.
